Jacobs, largely considered the top running back in the 2019 NFL Draft class, rushed for just 640 yards on 120 carries during his third and final season at Alabama. Jacobs added 20 catches for 247 yards and had 14 total touchdowns.

Jacobs, 21, is 5'10", 220-pounds, but ran just a 4.69 40-yard dash (22nd percentile per playerprofiler.com).

The Eagles recently acquired Jordan Howard from the Chicago Bears. A decision on Darren Sproles' future is still pending, as well. Either way, the Eagles could certainly use some young talented running backs on their roster. Philadelphia has not drafted a running back before round four since LeSean McCoy, a second-rounder, in 2009. The Eagles haven't selected a running back in the first round since Keith Byars in 1986.
