Well, the Ezekiel Elliott situation continues.
According to
ESPN's Josina Anderson, the star Dallas Cowboys RB will not play in 2019 without a new contract.

August 6, 2019 Anderson adds Dallas still believes it is unlikely that Zeke does not play this season and "Jerry Jones wants to get a deal done."
Elliott, 24, was the Cowboys' fourth overall pick in 2016. Elliott, who is still on his rookie deal, has a 2019 base salary of just $3,853,137 and an average annual salary of $6,239,085, which is 10th among NFL RBs.
Elliott has rushed for over 4,000 yards in 40 career games, to go along with 28 rushing touchdowns and 135 catches / 1,199 yards / 6 TDs in the passing game.
NFL Network reporter Jane Slater says the Cowboys have "generous" offers on the table for Dak Prescott, Amari Cooper, and Elliott.
Back in Oxnard for #Cowboys camp today and Wednesday and a few new details on the contracts front. I’m told the team has “generous” offers on the table for their QB, RB and WR. Putting each one in the top 5 “highest paid” at their positions.
