Well, after their 2-1 Game 1 win over the Canadiens on Tuesday night, they are now the favorites to win the Stanley Cup, according to MoneyPuck.com.
The Flyers, according to the website, are 76.4% to make the second round, 51.7% to reach the conference finals, 33.5% to reach the Stanley Cup finals, and 20.3% to win it all.
Vegas currently has the second best chance to win the Stanley Cup at 19.3% and then there is a steep drop off to third, with the Tampa Bay at 9.6%.
The Flyers, with an elite young goalie the franchise hasn't had in years in Carter Hart (who turns 22 today, by the way), seem poised to make a deep run this year.
