G.O.A.T. of Broad Street: No. 17, 16 and 15

Welcome to 94WIP's G.O.A.T. of Broad Street, where we will finally determine who the greatest athlete in Philadelphia sports history is! Remember, in order to qualify, the athlete must have played in Philadelphia in the last 50 years (1970). We are counting down the top 20 Philadelphia athletes over the last 50 years beginning on Monday, June 15th and ending on Thursday, June 25th. The rankings were determined based on votes from our fans and hosts.

G.O.A.T. of Broad Street is brought to you by A Better Financial Plan.

20-18. Jason Peters, Cole Hamels, Ryan Howard

16. Randall Cunningham, Eagles, QB

Stats: 11 seasons in Philly -- career: 29,979 passing yards, 207 TDs, 134 INTs, 4,928 rushing yards, 35 rushing TDs, 82-52-1 record, 3-6 postseason record

Awards: 4x Pro Bowl, 2x First-Team All Pro

Analysis: Randall is remembered more fondly than someone like Malone because of his highlight reel moments and cultural impact in the city, and understandably so. Randall was a pioneer, helping revolutionize the QB position in the NFL into what it has become today. Cunningham also spent the first 11 of his 16 NFL seasons in Philly.

Highlights:

15. Jimmy Rollins, Phillies, SS

Stats: 15 seasons in Philly --- career: .264/.324/.418, 231 HR, 936 RBI, 115 triples, 470 stolen bases

Awards: 3x All-Star, 2008 World Series champion, 2007 NL MVP, 4x Gold Glove winner, Phillies all-time leader in hits

Analysis: Jimmy Rollins spent nearly his entire 17-year career in Philadelphia. He wasn't the best player on the World Series team, but he was the leader -- the heart and soul. Rollins may have represented Philadelphia as well as any athlete of the last 50 years.
