A couple of the most recent Eagles to wear No. 2 are David Akers and Matt Barkley.
Since the draft ended, Hurts' Eagles jersey was one of the top sellers according to NFLShop.com, despite not having a number. Now, you can expect the Hurts jersey sales to spike again.
Hurts also enters his rookie season as the No. 2 QB behind Carson Wentz, but there is plenty of speculation that Hurts will see the field in specialized packages.
"I will be sorrounded by a great quarterback in Carson, great coaches," Hurt said in an April 27th interview with the 94WIP Morning Show's Angelo Cataldi.
"It's an opportunity for me to learn. I'm here to serve this team in any way I can, just take steps at the quarterback position. I'm excited for it."
