ESPN's Marc Stein reported that Brett Brown could be coaching for his job before the Sixers played Game 7 of the Eastern Conference semifinals against the Toronto Raptors on Sunday night.
So, now—naturally—many are speculating if Philadelphia will move on from their head coach.
Joel Embiid called the rumors "bulls**t."
“He’s an amazing coach, better person.” “ If there was someone to blame, put it on me.”

May 13, 2019 JJ Redick had strong words of support for his head coach.
"Seems like it's pretty obvious I would say that I love Brett, I love playing for him, and he has my full support, and what he has done for this organization is remarkable," said Redick during his exit interview on Monday, per
Kyle Neubek. "I don't feel it necessary to defend Brett to anyone, I think his work speaks for itself."

May 13, 2019 Brown, 58, began his tenure as Sixers head coach in 2013, at the start of "The Process." Brown has led the team to back-to-back 50 win seasons and two straight appearances in the semifinals, after four straight losing seasons.
Embiid, 25, was drafted third overall by the Sixers in 2014 and missed his first two seasons due to injury. Embiid represents "The Process."
The Sixers signed Redick, 34, in 2017 and then again last summer. Redick made it known in 2017 that Brown was a key reason he chose Philadelphia. Redick now enters free-agency for the third straight season.
