As for playing football, the 31-year-old former Eagles, Bills, and Chiefs RB is still a free-agent, hoping to land with an NFL team soon.
Philadelphia is reportedly looking to add another cheap, veteran running back for one-year to solidify the unit. Specifically, Carlos Hyde has been recently linked to the Birds.
Here's what LeSean McCoy said back in April:

So it would mean a lot for me to play back there when I'm done - to finish, I should say, my career out there. That'd be excellent. That's like home for me. But right now I'm trying to find the right fit for me. If it's Philadelphia, it is, and if it's not, it's not."
