The rotating guest speakers at Eagles Zoom meetings may have peaked with a Philly favorite joining the team yesterday.
According to John Clark of NBC Sports Philadelphia, Mike Trout spoke to the Eagles on Thursday in a Q&A session with Doug Pederson.
"He spoke to the Birds about the important things that it takes to win games, and how having a tight-knit locker room is the key to that," Clark wrote. "He gave some tips to the rookies, as well."
Trout, a season ticket holder with the Eagles, talked about locker room chemistry, his experience playing in Philadelphia, what the Eagles mean to him and also gave some tips to the rookies.
Trout joins a list of high-profile coaches and players to speak with the Eagles this offseason, including Phil Jackson, Steve Kerr and CC Sabathia.
Back in April, the Angels outfielder caught some slack for his comments regarding the start of the baseball season. With Rob Manfred stating that an MLB season is "100%" happening, Trout and others will have to make the decision on whether to play or not.
