May 20, 2020 It's been an active offseason for Sanders. Earlier this spring, the Giants' running back Saquon Barkley posted a video of the two training together. Sanders also joined SiriusXM NFL Radio and talked about his confidence in the Eagles roster, which he says got "more depth and more explosive and more aggressive too".
The second year running back has a ton of confidence headed into the 2020 season. As a rookie, Sanders led the Eagles in carries and yards from scrimmage by a large margin after he became the lead running back when Jordan Howard went down with an injury. While Sanders will likely return as the lead back this season, the Eagles are looking to add a veteran running back, with names like LeSean McCoy, Carlos Hyde, and Devonta Freeman still on the market.
