From Monday, May 18th to Friday, May 22nd we will settle one topic each day on SportsRadio94WIP and social media (check our Twitter page for a daily poll every morning at 6am starting on 5/18).
Spike Eskin announced the five daily debates for the week of May 18th on Tuesday's 94WIP Morning Show. Here they are.
Monday, May 18th: Is Donovan McNabb underrated or overrated?
You knew number five wouldn't survive this week without a day. On one hand, he's arguably the greatest QB in Eagles history with six Pro Bowls and a 9-7 playoff record. On the other hand, he never won a Super Bowl and you know, the whole throw-up thing.
Tuesday, May 19th: Who was really the most important player on the '08 Phillies?
You really have four legitimate options here: Cole Hamels, Ryan Howard, Chase Utley, or Jimmy Rollins. Hamels was the NLCS and WS MVP. Howard was the greatest power hitter of that era. Utley was the do-it-all, best all-around player. And J-Roll was the spark-leader.
Wednesday, May 20th: Was Sam Hinkie a good general manager for the 76ers?
Need one final Eskin vs. Eskin debate on Wednesday. Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons have the Sixers on the right track, or do they? Some would argue The Process was a failure.
Thursday, May 21st: Carson Wentz vs. Nick Foles
Current franchise QB vs. Super Bowl hero. This one is going to be fun.
Friday, May 22nd: Joe Giglio vs. everyone on Gabe Kapler
The Gabe Kapler era was a ton of fun. We debated about him pretty much every day for two years. Now, while most are in agreement that Kapler wasn't the man for the Phillies, 94WIP's Joe Giglio still isn't convinced. So Giglio will spent 16 straight hours trying to defend his boy.
