After eight straight games have been postponed, the Philadelphia Phillies are finally expected to be back in action on Monday night in New York against the Yankees as they have no new positive tests for the third straight day

You can listen to the game at 7:05pm on SportsRadio94WIP.

The Phillies have been dealing with a COVID-19 situation, after the Marlins organization had an outbreak while they were in Philadelphia playing the Phillies in the opening series of the shortened 2020 season. Since then, 17 members of the Marlins organization have tested positive for COVID-19.

The Phillies had two staffers test positive, but no players. However, the team has had no new positive tests today for the third consecutive day.

Due to the missed games, the NL East standings looks extremely odd.

Tonight, the Phils are big underdogs as Jake Arrieta takes the mound against Gerrit Cole.

The Phillies have also announced that Aaron Nola will start tomorrow night's game against the Yankees.
