We are just over 24 hours away from the Major League Baseball trade deadline and many fans are hoping the Phillies will make necessary upgrades to secure a postseason berth.
The pressure is on general manager Matt Klentak, who began the week by acquiring left-handed starter Jason Vargas from the Mets on Monday.
Here are some of the other rumors surrounding the Phils:

2. Phillies linked to outfielder Yasiel Puig
UPDATE: Puig is reportedly headed to the Indians
Philadelphia could certainly look at add Puig and move utility man Scott Kingery to third base.
Puig, 28, is hitting .257/.306/.484 with 22 homers and 59 RBIs in 98 games this season.
3. Phillies linked to third baseman Todd Frazier
Frazier, 33, is hitting .244/.328/.436 with 13 home runs in 266 at-bats.
The Phillies are currently 55-50, six games back of the Atlanta Braves in the NL East and just one game back of the Cubs and Cardinals for the NL's second wild card spot.
