The Phantastic Auction, an online auction featuring once-in-a-lifetime experiences and memorabilia, came to a close on Friday evening, raising $205,000 to benefit Phillies Charities, Inc.
This 12-day, online event, held in partnership between the Phillies and SportsRadio94WIP, featured 52 unique experiences with Phillies players, alumni and front office, as well as non-game experiences, trips, memorabilia and more.
Out of the items up for auction, the Kids' WIFFLE Ball Party at The Yard with outfielder Bryce Harper raised the most money, reaching $15,520. This is the most amount raised for a single item since the Phantastic Auction began seven years ago (in 2016, a round of golf for three with Mike Schmidt raised $15,000).
Net proceeds from the Phantastic Auction benefit Phillies Charities, Inc. and will be awarded to charitable organizations across the region. A portion of those proceeds are being contributed to the Greater Philadelphia Chapter of the ALS Association as part of the Phillies Phestival on June 13.
