Hoskins gets revenge on Rhame with long HR trot

You gotta love Rhys Hoskins.

One night after Hoskins was thrown at, twice, by Jacob Rhame in the ninth inning of a 9-0 game and hours after Phillies manager Gabe Kapler said, "We'll decide how to handle it," Hoskins got revenge.

With one on and no outs in the ninth and the Phillies leading 4-0 on Wednesday night, Hoskins faced Rhame again. This time he hit a homer down the left field line and took 34 seconds to slowly trot around the bases.

"And Rhys Hoskins is going to take a really slow trot around the bases and I mean he is milking this," Scott Franzke said on the Phillies radio broadcast on 94.1 WIP-FM. "It's 6-0 Phillies."

That was Hoskins' sixth home run of the season. He is hitting .262/.392/.524 with six homers and 18 RBI in 22 games this season.
