NBA analyst and former Sixer Charles Barkley is bullish on Philly's chances to have success when the season resumes.
"They gonna have the two best players on the court in every series, except against the Milwaukee Bucks," Barkley said, obviously referring to Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid. The long lay off may have helped Simmons and Embiid recover from their respective injuries, but conditioning -- especially for Embiid -- will be crucial. As for Simmons, Brett Brown has already said does not expect Simmons to be 100-percent, as he is still recovering from a serious back injury.
The schedules were released last week and the Sixers' looks favorable. While the Sixers open up with a tougher matchup against the Pacers, they play five straight games against sub-.500 teams.
Also, last week, the Sixers signed Australian bench shooter Ryan Broekhoff.
