You gotta love the Sixers' confidence

James Ennis

The Philadelphia 76ers are one of the premiere basketball teams in the NBA, there's no doubt about it. Vegas has them listed as the fourth favorite to win the NBA Finals, behind only the Milwaukee Bucks in the East.

New Sixer Josh Richardson and role player James Ennis certainly sound confident.

Ennis apparently believes the Sixers will "walk to the NBA Finals" with Kawhi Leonard now in Los Angeles.

James Ennis III to the @PhillyInquirer on re-signing w/ #Sixers: "Because it's a good team, and a good chance of winning. The East is going to wide open. We had a good chance last year. Kawhi is gone. He went to the West. So we are going to walk to the Finals in the East."

Now, that's a little strong, sure, but Ennis—who signed a two-year extension worth $4 million with Philly—is the third or fourth guy off the bench. He's confident. He's excited. That's a good thing and it's not really a secret. The Sixers should, at the very least, reach the Eastern Conference Finals and setting a high bar isn't a bad thing.

Richardson, 25, who the Sixers acquired via a sign and trade with the Miami Heat for Jimmy Butler, talked about what he has to get used to going from the Heat to the Sixers. His answer? Preparing to play 90-plus games.

Here you have an ascending 25-year-old wing going from the Heat to the Sixers, saying now he can't wait to prepare for 90+ games. The #Sixers are an elite NBA team right now and for the foreseeable future. pic.twitter.com/fvoJVi1YWY

Of course, some of the Twitter heads and Sixers' haters went bananas over Ennis' quote: "Oh no, another Dream Team comment!"

Just relax, everyone. This team is very, very good.
