The Sixers and Lakers, specifically, are among a bunch of NBA contenders interested in acquiring Detroit Pistons PG Derrick Rose at the trade deadline, according to Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports.
"The Lakers and Sixers are in search of point guard assistance for the stretch run," Haynes wrote according to his sources.

Rose, 31, is averaging 18.4 points and 5.8 assists in 26.1 minutes per game this season for a struggling Detroit team who is without Blake Griffin due to injury. Rose is shooting a career high 49.8-percent from the field, 31.3-percent from three, and 86.9-percent from the line.
For the Sixers, Rose could serve as a sixth man capable of playing backup point guard, providing instant offense, and running the offense late in close games, something Ben Simmons has struggled to do. Contractually, Rose is an attractive option as he's making under $8 million dollars this season and next.
Sixers reporter Derek Bodner spoke about Rose's potential fit in Philly.
