— SPORTSRADIO 94WIP (@SportsRadioWIP) April 12, 2019"Yep," Embiid said Friday when asked if his status is still up in the air.
"It's just about the pain," said Embiid. "I just gotta see how I feel every day and you never know what's gonna happen."
Embiid, 25, missed 14 of the Sixers' final 24 regular season games with left knee soreness, tendinitis and say he's been experiencing pain in his knee since the All-Star game.
"It's frustrating," Embiid admitted. "Extremely frustrating, but can only control what you can and that's the work I put in every day. How I treat my body and that I take care of it, and I guess the rest is gonna follow."
The good news is it seems like Embiid is staying positive, because he still has NBA Finals hopes—or at least, he's saying he does.
"We got a real chance to go to the Finals, to win the whole thing, so I'm excited," Embiid said.
An initial status for Embiid for Saturday's playoff game at home against the Brooklyn Nets (2:30pm) must be determined by 5pm on Friday, per the NBA rules.
