Philadelphia lost Jimmy Butler and JJ Redick, but added Josh Richardson and Al Horford. They also re-signed Mike Scott and Tobias Harris, signed Kyle O'Quinn, and could get a boost from youngsters Zhaire Smith and Matissee Thybulle.

According to FiveThirtyEight.com, "the Sixers are projected for a very good offensive efficiency (+2.0 points better than average) and an elite defense (+5.1). Their resulting CARMELO rating (1686) is one of the best in the league, roughly equivalent to that of a 59-win team."
The Sixers won 51 and 52 games in each of the last two seasons, respectively, so 59 wins would be a significant increase. However, projections are just that...projections and the team will have to mesh on the court together, stay healthy, and perform.
Joe DeCamara believes the Sixers are the best team in the NBA, now.
