We need a little confidence boost around here. Enough of the "trade everyone, fire the coach" nonsense. This series is far from over and we need to calm down a little bit.
Here are four reasons why the Sixers can still win this series and make all your negative takes look really bad.
1. A seven-game series cannot be any closer than 3-2 after five games
Mathetically speaking, one of the teams literally has to have a 3-2 lead right now.
2. All the Sixers need to do is win two games in a row; one at home, one on the road
They've already won two games in a row this series; one on the road, one at home. Remember?
3. Kawhi Leonard starting to come back to life last game
Kawhi shot over 50-percent and scored 25 points or more in six straight games, before going 7-16 for 21 points in Game 5 on Tuesday. He can't possibly shoot 50-plus percent every game.
4. Joel Embiid has to be getting healthier, right?
Embiid has been sick for the last two games, both Sixers' losses. Before that, the Sixers won two in a row and had a 2-1 series lead.
Game 6 is tonight at the Wells Fargo Center at 8pm.
