Joel Embiid is "on track" to play in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference semifinals vs. Celtics on Wednesday night, according to Shams Charania.
Embiid was named the 2023 MVP on Tuesday night, breaking down in tears when hearing he won the award.
Embiid will hold a press conference at 11:15am from Boston on winning the MVP.
Embiid, 29, averaged a career high 33.1 points per game during the regular season, securing his second straight scoring title. Embiid became the first center to win back-to-back scoring titles since Bob McAdoo won three straight from 1973-1976.
