According to NBC Sports Philadelphia's John Clark, Simmons met with president Daryl Morey on Wednesday and said he is still not mentally ready to play.
Clark adds that Simmons is reportedly receiving medical treatment outside of the organization and is not providing the Sixers with any progress updates.
