Crypto.com CMO attends 76ers game: 'I have never been more excited'

Crypto.com is taking the sports world by storm, patterning with the biggest leagues, venues, and teams across the world.

When Chief Market Officer Steven Kalifowitz was asked what Cyrpto.com is focused on, he said partnering with passionate fan bases, and specifically and unsolicited mentioned the Philadelphia 76ers as an "insanely passionate" fan base.


"Number one is we focus on great partners with passionate communities around them," Kalifowitz said on The Pomp Podcast with Anthony Pompliano and his brothers. "These are brands that we are collaborating with. In the case of the NBA, we worked with the Sixers. I was in Philly at one of the games last week and I have never been more excited watching a game. The fans are insanely passionate and the ability to partner with a brand like that and connect with those fans is incredible."

The 76ers and crypto.com announced their partnership in September, putting their logo on Sixers' jerseys and announcing the first ever Sixers NFT.

On Wednesday, crypto.com announced their partnership with Staples Center to rename the arena to the Crypto.com Arena. The deal is worth $700 million over 20 years.
