Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons will be forced to miss regular season game(s) due to contact tracing, according to Shams Charania.
The Sixers return from the All-star break on Thursday at the Bulls and then play again the next night on Friday at the Wizards.
Both Embiid and Simmons missed Sunday's all-star game because their personal barber tested positive for COVID-19. Neither Embiid nor Simmons had been exposed to any other players or people in the Atlanta All-Star bubble, as they traveled separately on private planes.
This is a pretty big blow for the Sixers, who are fighting for the No. 1 seed in the East. They're currently 24-12, just 0.5 game ahead of the Nets (24-13) and 2.0 games ahead of the Bucks (22-14).
