It has been exactly 10 years and one day since The Process, under Sam Hinkie, began for the Philadelphia 76ers and 94WIP's Howard Eskin has been the loudest detractor from day one.
Well, early Monday morning, hours after the Sixers' laid an absolutely goose getting blown out in Game 7 of the Eastern Conference semifinals against the Boston Celtics and failing to get out of the second-round yet again, Eskin took a little victory lap on Twitter calling The Process a "disgrace."
For years, Eskin argued with anyone and everyone about the merits of "The Process," including infamous on-air debates with his son, former 94WIP Programming Director and host of the Rights To Ricky Sanchez Podcast Spike Eskin.
The merits of The Process will be debated forever. The Sixers were able to land a Most Valuable Player in Joel Embiid, but ultimately made unlimited mistakes from Jahlil Okafor, to Ben Simmons, to Markelle Fultz, to Jimmy Butler, to Mikal Bridges, and on and on.
I'm sure we'll hear more from Howard on 94WIP this week.
