James Harden had another rough shooting night on Thursday, as the 76ers blew another big lead in a loss to the Raptors.
Harden, who lit it up from the floor in his first four games with Philadelphia to the tune of a 59 percent clip from the floor and 50 percent from downtown, shot just 3-for-12 from the field on Thursday. He is shooting 36 percent from the floor and 30 percent from downtown in his last 16 games.
Asked after the game what has been holding him and the Sixers offense back, Harden pointed to spacing on the floor, a problem he brought up during his Nets tenure as well.
"Our spacing," Harden said, via Fox Sports. "It's been like that the last few days. We just gotta watch film and just talk about it and make sure we're in our spots."
Harden even said those spacing issues are impacting his ability to drive to the basket and draw fouls. He has just eight free throw attempts in his last two games.
"A little bit," Harden said. "Yeah, a little bit.
"I think our spacing helps us with not turning the basketball over and getting quality shots, possession by possession, that's very, very important in the postseason."
