Hours after the video surfaced of James Harden calling Daryl Morey a "liar" and saying he would never play for a team led by Morey again, Sixers' players Joel Embiid and P.J. Tucker have reacted on social media.

Embiid removed some things from his Twitter bio like "processing..." and the location of Philadelphia.

Tucker, who played with Harden under Morey in Houston from 2017 to 2021, posted a photo with Harden captioned, "I'm not acrobatic, I'm not flippin' on my bros." It is clear where Tucker's allegiance lies.

Bleacher Report's Jason Dumas reports that Morey is "unmoved" by Harden's comments and "he is holding firm in his stance that he will not trade him unless it makes the Sixers a better team."

ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reports that Harden hopes to make the Sixers so uncomfortable that he forces them to trade him.

Harden opted into his $35.6 million player-option with the Sixers in hopes of getting traded this offseason.

Harden, who will turn 34 in 13 days, is coming off of a season where he took a pay cut with the Sixers and had a successful regular season, averaging 21.0 points, 6.1 rebounds and an NBA best 10.7 assists per game.

However, Harden was streaky in the postseason, as the Sixers were eliminated in the second-round of the playoffs once again.

Embiid is under contract through the 2025-26 season, while Tucker is set to make around $11 million this season and then has a player option for 2024-25 worth $11.5 million.
