The New York Knicks are willing to offer a package for Joel Embiid that includes three players and two or three first-round picks, according to Keith Pompey of The Philadelphia Inquirer.

Pompey reports New York is willing to trade three of these four players in the package: Julius Randle, R.J. Barrett, Evan Fournier and Mitchell Robinson.

Embiid undoubtedly loves Philadelphia, the place he now calls home, but most NBA superstars do not stay in one city for the entire careers and the Sixers appear to be on the verge of collapsing, as James Harden continues to hold out as Philadelphia's start of the 2023-24 NBA season is just two days away.

Philadelphia 76ers president Daryl Morey is always extremely calculated in his roster maneuvers and historically Morey likes to be on the side of acquiring assets to contend, not selling assets to rebuild, so it's likely he will try to do everything in his power to keep Embiid in a Sixers uniform.

Embiid has reiterated this offseason that all he wants to do is win a championship and believes as long as he is on the roster, the team has a chance.
