O'Connor: '50-percent chance' Paul George leaves LA for Philly
Spike Eskin asked Kevin O'Connor of The Ringer to put a percentage on the chance that Paul George leaves Los Angeles for Philadelphia.
"I mean I'll give it 50-percent that he would actually do it," KOC told Eskin and Ike Reese on Thursday's 94WIP Afternoon Show. "I mean if you're George, you have same other options. If the Clippers aren't going to give him the fourth year on the max deal then I think he will look at the Sixers, the Thunder, the Pacers.
"I think it really comes down to will the Clippers give him that fourth year, which is what he desires."
George, 34, is reportedly the Sixers' "Plan A" in free-agency this summer.
Daryl Morey and the Sixers will have around $60 million in cap space to build around Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey, the most amount of cap space of any contender in the NBA.
