Ben Simmons worked out with the 76ers at their practice facility in Camden on Tuesday morning, according to NBA on TNT sideline reporter Allie LaForce.

LaForce reported on Tuesday night's broadcast that Simmons continues to receive professional treatment for mental health and undergoing regular treatment for his back. The Sixers, per LaForce, will continue to pay him while he works on getting better.

"It's not about the money for us, it's about winning a title," a front office executive told LaForce. "We want to win and he's a regular good player."

On TNT's Inside The NBA, Shaquille O'Neal—who has been incredibly tough on Simmons publicly throughout this entire offseason—admitted he needed to learn about mental health and be more compassionate of the situation.

As for the game itself, the Simmons-less Sixers were blown out by the Knicks at Madison Square Garden, losing 112-99, but it was never really even as close as the score indicates.

Joel Embiid struggled shooting just 2-7 from the field and recording just 14 points and six rebounds in 30 minutes, while committing five turnovers.

Tyrese Maxey had just seven points, three assists, and two turnovers in 30 minutes, getting his fourth start at point guard in just his second NBA season.

The 76ers (2-2) will begin a four-game home stand on Thursday against the Detroit Pistons. There is no word yet if Simmons will play in any of the four games.
