Could you imagine if the Philadelphia 76ers hired JJ Redick to be their next head coach?
Well, one sportsbook—sportsbook.ag—has listed Redick as the favorite to become the next head coach of the Sixers.
Redick, just 38 years old, is currently an NBA analyst and broadcaster for ESPN. JJ, of course, played for the Sixers from 2017-2019, putting up some of the best numbers of his career during his time in Philadelphia.
Most Sixers fans were Redick supporters before he voted for Giannis over Joel Embiid for MVP this season.
Redick as the next Sixers' coach still seems far fetched, regardless of the odds of one sports book. ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski did not list Redick among the six candidates for the job.
