Long-time WIP Morning Show producer Joe Weachter announced his retirement on Monday after 38 years with the station and 35 years working on the Morning Show.
Weachter was a major part of the success of Angelo Cataldi and the 94WIP Morning Show, as well as the new 94WIP Morning Show with Joe DeCamara and Jon Ritchie—which is about two years old.
Weachter is the longest tenured employee at 94WIP, preceding Cataldi.
Weachter will be honored on Thursday, March 20th, his final day.
"Everything that we do, Joe Weachter is a part of," James Seltzer said on Monday.
"My best friend here at the station," Rhea Hughes said.
KYW reporter and former 94WIP Morning Show producer/contributor Dave Uram posted on X about Weachter.
