The Milwaukee Bucks set the tone, and now others have followed their lead.
The Milwaukee Brewers and Cincinnati Reds both agreed not to take the field on Wednesday night in response to the shooting of James Blake, per multiple reports.
The decision was made by the players just hours after the Bucks and the rest of the NBA decided against playing their slate of playoff games on Wednesday for the same reason.
Blake, a Black man, was shot by police officers outside of his vehicle where his three children were seated in Kenosha, Wisconsin -- about 40 miles from Milwaukee.
This is a developing story. Please check back for more details.
