For the second week in a row, the Eagles looked overmatched against another NFC contender.
The Birds went into Dallas on Sunday night hoping to rectify some of the mistakes they made against the 49ers, but they will fly home to Philadelphia licking their wounds after another 20-point loss.
There will be emotion and reaction on Sports Radio 94WIP tomorrow on Reaction Monday, but here are the instant takes from some of the hosts at the station:
1. "Boo," James Seltzer.
2. The Eagles defense didn't play great, especially in the first half, but it's hard to blame that unit entirely when the offense scored a measly six points.
3. "I was worried about the defense getting shredded, but I didn’t see Devonta and AJ having their worst games of the season. This is bad," Jon Marks.
4. "The Eagles are in a rut and it's pretty clear if they don't get out of it, they won't win the Super Bowl," Eliot Shorr-Parks.
5. That was maybe the best Jalen Hurts looked as a runner all season.
6. "This is not a well-coached football team," Joe Giglio.
7. "One of the most underrated aspects of pro football is losing quality assistant coaches," Rob Ellis.
8. "The Eagles were outplayed and outcoached this evening…total, complete system failure," Paul Jolovitz.
9. "This is just embarrassing. Offense terrible. Defense terrible. 3 lost fumbles from your 3 best offensive players. Completely unacceptable," Tom Kelly.
10. "This offense has been underwhelming all year, given the talent they have on that side of the ball," Jack Fritz.
