The Eagles finally got the breakout performance at wide receiver they were looking for — it just didn't come from who they expected.
Travis Fulgham turned in one of the best games from an Eagles' receivers over the last 10 years on Sunday in the Eagles' loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers, catching 10 passes for 152 yards and a touchdown.
Only four receivers only the last 10 years have topped 150 yards in an Eagles' uniform — Jeremy Maclin, DeSean Jackson, Jordan Matthews and Alshon Jeffery.
Fulgham is now on that list.
Here are 11 more fun facts about what Fulgham has accomplished over the last two games:
1. Travis Fulgham is now the Eagles' leading receiver with 209 yards on the season. He took the lead on just 12 catches. He is still only fifth in targets on the roster.
2. DeSean Jackson has 259 receiving yards since Week 1 of the 2019 season. Fulgham has nearly as much in the last two games. Jackson is averaging 14.3 yards-per-catch since returning the Eagles. Fulgham is averaging 17.4 yards-per-catch over the last two weeks.
3. Fulgham had 152 yards vs. the Steelers. Alshon Jeffery has only passed that total once (160 yards) in 39 games with the Eagles. Jeffery has never passed 152 yards in a game with Carson Wentz at quarterback. Jeffery only has one game in his career with the Eagles with more than the 13 targets Fulgham got on Sunday.
4. Fulgham is tied for the Eagles' lead in touchdown receptions among receivers (2) with Greg Ward. It took him only five quarters to tie the two touchdowns Ward has caught in 20 quarters.
5. Wentz has connected with Fulgham on 12 of the 16 pass attempts thrown his way. The 75% completion percentage is the best on the team of any player with at least 10-plus targets.
6. Only five receivers this season in the entire league have had a game with more than 152 yards.
7. Fulgham's 10 catches tied the most Alshon Jeffery has ever had in an Eagles' uniform. Jackson's career high with the Eagles is also 10.
8. J.J. Arcega-Whiteside has 206 yards receiving in 19 games since being drafted by the Eagles. Fulgham has now passed him with 209 receiving yards over the last two weeks.
9. J.J. Arcega-Whiteside has one career touchdown with the Eagles. Fulgham has two.
10. The Eagles drafted three receivers in the 2020 NFL Draft. Five games into the season, Fulgham has more receiving yards (209) than all of them combined (153).
11. Fulgham has more touchdowns (2) in two games than Mack Hollins had in 36 with the Eagles. He also has nearly as many receiving yards — 209 for Fulgham to 351 for Hollins.
