The Philadelphia Eagles offense continues to be battered ahead of the playoffs.
Wide receiver A.J. Brown was will not return against the Giants after sustaining a right knee injury in the first quarter. Meanwhile, Jalen Hurts was also evaluated by the medical staff after injuring his middle finger.
Hurts did return to the game without missing a snap but was later removed after the Eagles went down 24-0 at the end of the second quarter.
Brown was injured on a tackle while fumbling the ball. He remained on the ground grabbing his knee before limping toward the sideline to be evaluated in the blue medical tent.
Brown then went to the locker room and was ruled questionable to return before ultimately being designated out.
The Eagles already did not have Devonta Smith or De’Andre Swift for Sunday as both were battling injuries.
The Eagles also had not choice but to play their starters on Sunday with the NFC East title at stake between them and the Cowboys. A win and Dallas loss would give Philadelphia its second straight division title and No. 2 seed in the playoffs, whereas a loss would drop them to the fifth seed and force a road matchup against the Tampa Bay Bucs.
