C.J. Gardner Johnson's agency is oddly getting into the fray on Twitter.

Universal Sports Management's Twitter account tweeted on Sunday night following the news that safety CJGJ signed a one-year deal worth up to $8 million with the Detroit Lions.

The agency defended CJGJ's decision, explaining that the Eagles' offer was a "fake" three-year deal worth $24 million with $17 million coming in year three.

The agency was skewered in the comments for getting involved on Twitter, something that CJGJ himself has been criticized of as well. Gardner-Johnson was active on Twitter throughout the negotiation process, occasionally deleting tweets, like one that said, "The disrespect is real," as well as this one.

Gardner-Johnson, 25, was acquired by Howie Roseman from the New Orleans Saints right before the start of last season. The defensive back did not disappoint, recording a career-high six interceptions in 12 games.

The Eagles have been busy during the free-agency period, re-signing cornerback James Bradberry, extended cornerback Darius Slay and bringing veterans RB Boston Scott, DE Brandon Graham, C Jason Kelce, and DT Fletcher Cox back on one-year deals. Contrarily, the Eagles lost some key players like DT Javon Hargrave, LB TJ Edwards, S Marcus Epps, LB Kyzir White, OT Andre Dillard, RB Miles Sanders, G Isaac Seumalo and the aforementioned Slay.

Philadelphia also signed RB Rashaad Penny to a one-year deal worth about $2 million.
