Legendary Eagle Brandon Graham announces retirement

Legendary Philadelphia Eagle Brandon Graham emotionally announced his retirement on Tuesday after 15 NFL seasons, all with the Eagles.

Graham played in the most games in Philadelphia Eagles history at 206. He is third all-time in sacks with 76.5.

Graham, who turns 37 on April 3rd, retires as a two-time Super Bowl champion recording an unforgettable strip sack on Tom Brady to secure the first Super Bowl in franchise history. It is arguably the most important play in Eagles history.

"Finally, to Philadelphia," Graham said. "We didn't start so tight as you know, you made me work for this and I appreciate you for that...You never let me get comfortable. You held me accountable, you kept that chip on my shoulder...and when the time came we celebrated together, two times...Your loyalty, your fire and your unwavering support mean everything to me and this organization...This game has changed my life, but more importantly this city has changed my life...My love for this team and this city will never fade."

Graham tore his triceps in Week 12 and returned to play in Super LIX. BG confirmed that he re-tore his triceps in the game, but did not realize until the game was over.

Graham, who was a frequent guest on 94WIP and co-hosted The Brandon Graham Show every Monday night live from Chickie's & Pete's in South Philly for years, has said he wants to work in NFL media when he retires.

The Eagles posted this beautiful tribute video for BG.
