Brandon Graham was fired up on today's 94WIP Morning Show, saying he is confident his Eagles team will turn things around and show up in Monday night's playoff game.
"Right now, it's 0-0 man," Graham told Joe DeCamara and Jon Ritchie on Tuesday's 94WIP Morning Show. "And we got an opportunity, we got a ticket to the dance right now and it's what we gonna do. Are we dancing or are we ready to go home? That's the bottom line of what we're in right now. It's playoff atmosphere. It's win or go home and that's the mindset. At the end of the day, what happened in the past is in the past. It's more about what we do moving forward.
"I got to hear y'all a little bit and I understand y'all frustration, but y'all ain't in that building. So I can't wait. Keep it coming because I love it, I feel like that dog mentality of us got to come back. Yeah, we've been kind of fortunate the last couple of years, kind of playing good, winning, the city has been on fire. It kind of got back to that feeling of like, everybody doubting us again. Yeah, there it is, come on y'all. Let's get our act together because we got to the playoffs, but it's what we gonna do with it. That's what I'm going to talk to the team about today. It's like, 'Man, let's put our big boy pants on, let's go out here and let's show these boys what we know we can get back to. Because at the end of the day, it's on us as always. Y'all don't know what's going in that building, just like you said, you don't know. We've got to make sure we put the product out in a great way, so y'all can talk in a better way."
"This past game, we didn't even know if we was playing or not. I don't really like going into the game. That don't give us no excuse, they came out and they played because we knew they were going to come out and play. More credit to them, I ain't taking away nothing. We got our butt whopped. If that didn't wake us up—which it should have because we only got one more than we know of.
BG says he will speak to his teammates today and explain to them the feeling he has.
"Ain't nobody ready to lay down," Graham said. "We don't get all of the answers, but I do know that what we put out this past—two day ago—it ain't gonna happen again. I can bet the house on it, you know what I'm saying? Because I know my team is going to respond well. I know Jalen is going to come out and lead the way. We believe man. I love how our backs up against the wall. Everybody is like, 'Man we might as well pack it up.' Yeah, that's that weak mentality. We ain't got that. I can't wait to go out there this week and get ready because I'm turnt up.
"They gonna feel it, they gonna feel me. That's what I will tell you. Like we talking right now, they gonna feel me because that's gonna be the first thing when we go on this list today. 'Let's grow some big ones! Let's go out here, let's go prove everybody wrong. Let's grow prove ourselves right on what we know we can do.'"
