Brandon Graham confirmed Derrick Gunn's report that he is negotiating with the Philadelphia Eagles about returning for a 15th and final season.
"You know that's the plan, you know I'm trying to play my 15th year," Graham told the 94WIP Afternoon Show on Thursday. "Of course you know Howie [Roseman], and us, we're working on things to make sure business is squared away. I'm looking forward to seeing what he does this offseason...It's always fun to see what direction they're going to go in and how they're going to build this thing...I'm glad to still be a part of those plans and now it's just all about us making it make sense for both parties."
Graham, 35, was asked about the relationship between fans, media, and pro athletes in Philadelphia and if the city is too hard on its athletes.
"It just depends on the person," Graham explained. "It's not made for everybody. I don't want Philly to change who it is...It is tough to play in this city. Y'all got a job to do, just as much as the fans...You got to make sure you play long game, getting better every week."
Graham, who joins 94WIP every Monday during the season live from Chickie's & Pete's in South Philly for The Brandon Graham Show, says he'd like to pursue a job in media after retiring. BG says he is participating in media boot camp through the NFL in April.
"I think that's definitely going to be the route I take when I'm done. That's breaking news, because I ain't never told anybody that. I like the media route, I really do."
