BG on '90-percent' retired comment: 'Just wanted to talk some stuff'

Legendary former Philadelphia Eagle Brandon Graham says he is at peace and happy with his retirement, joking that he was not serious about his "90-percent retired" comment.

"Yeah I'm at a peace. It ain't nothing going on, I just wanted to talk some stuff...I knew I could throw some bait out there and get 'em talking," Graham told Joe DeCamara and Jon Ritchie. "That's why I laughed when Hugh said what he said. I was like, I get it Hugh. I ain't having no hard time. I am really just trying to enjoy the journey of the hard parts of—'Now I got a week before I got to move my locker room'...But I am happy with my decision, man. I really don't feel the game don't owe me anything and I don't owe the game nothing. I am proven myself on the [draft] pick. Thankful that things turned around, happy for the success of others that we won it and we've all had some success in our own way."

Graham believes Howie Roseman and the Philadelphia Eagles could be in a position to trade out of the 32nd overall pick in this year's NFL Draft.

"Yeah, I think the first day we gonna be—I don't know, this just me talking," Graham said about the draft. "I think we might trade out, get more picks or we can trade up depending on—because we've got 20 [picks] in the next couple years. And so, it's just like I think either you're gonna really like some guys or you're going to try and add some more value where you can get a lot of other guys that you really like that might be hits, but you know, you don't got to spend as much on them."

The Philadelphia Eagles have eight draft picks in the 2025 NFL Draft:

Round 1 (32nd overall)
Round 2 (64th)
Round 3 (96th)
Round 4 (129th)
Round 5 (162nd, 166th, 169th)
