Dawkins: Eagles' dynasty possible with 'MVP' Vic Fangio

Brian Dawkins believes the Philadelphia Eagles can become a dynasty, in large part to the man he calls their "MVP" being around for awhile.

"They've done it, they've won the first one," The Philadelphia Eagles' legend told his former teammate Hugh Douglas and Joe Giglio on the 94WIP Midday Show.

"They've won that doggone first Super Bowl. The hard part for them is going to be what has happened and that is their coaches being poached.

"I believe Vic is gonna be there for a little while. Like Vic is gonna be around...To me he was the MVP. He's taken that defense from the 31st in the league to the first in the National Football League during the year, but also to playing the like the best defense in the postseason. To the point that they absolutely demolished the potential three-peat Kansas City Chiefs."

"So yeah, it's not going to be easy," Dawkins said of an Eagles' dynasty. "They have some of the pieces in place. But who is going to be this next offensive coordinator and how long is he going to be around?"

Dawkins also talked about the player of Super Bowl LIX MVP Jalen Hurts.

This is the Jalen that we've seen," Dawkins said on Wednesday. "We've seen this Jalen before...This is the Jalen that many people, I, expected to see during the season. I don't mind being critiqued, a lot of people critiquing him. Why? Because you have flashed us that...and in the playoffs he got back into that mold of playing at that level. And so, this was not a surprised to me that he played this way."
