Carson Wentz having tests to determine severity of separate sprains on each ankle

Carson Wentz is injured again.

The Colts QB suffered two ankle sprains in Sunday's loss to the Rams, one on each ankle, and will have tests to determine the severity of those sprains according to Ian Rapoport.

Of course, this affects the Eagles because Philadelphia's conditional second-round pick in 2022 they received from Indianapolis in the Wentz trade could improve to a first rounder if Wentz plays 75+ percent of Indy's offensive snaps this season—or if he plays 70+ percent and the Colts make the playoffs.

Wentz was 20-31 with 247 yards, 1 TD, and 1 INT, and was mocked for a shovel pass interception on social media.

The Colts are now off to an 0-2 start with Wentz. Through two games with Indy he is 45-69 with 498 yards passing, 3 TDs, 1 INT, 60 rushing yards, and six sacks taken.
