Darius Slay says Quinyon Mitchell is going to be 'special'
Philadelphia Eagles cornerback Darius Slay posted on X that rookie cornerback Quinyon is going to be special.
Both Slay and Mitchell were excellent in Sunday's win against the Saints, as Derek Carr struggled when trying to complete passes against the Eagles' starting corners.

—Quinyon Mitchell: 3-5, 29 yards (64.6 QB rating)
—Darius Slay: 1-2, 9 yards, (56.3 QB rating)
Mitchell, just 23, was the Eagles 22nd overall pick in this year's NFL Draft.
In three games, Mitchell has five passes defended and 12.0 total tackles, plus multiple near interceptions and big pass breakups.
Mitchell has five forced incompletions this season, which is first among all rookies, second among all cornerbacks, and third among all NFL players. Mitchell is the fifth favorite to win NFL defensive rookie of the year, per FoxSports.
Slay, 33, is a six-time Pro Bowler and one-time first-team All-Pro. Last week in a loss to the Falcons, Slay was burned for a touchdown by Darnell Mooney. Other than that, Slay has been his normal lock down self this season.
