Age old Eagles debate: Where do you stand on Lurie-Roseman power structure today?

It's an age-old Eagles debate: Where do you stand on the team's power structure led by owner Jeffrey Lurie and general manager Howie Roseman?

Joe DeCamara is still all-in.

"While it makes me feel uneasy, to a certain degree. While it probably causes problems, at times, I acknowledge that. I am still all good, I am still all-in on the Jeffrey Lurie-Howie Roseman thing," DeCamara said on Tuesday's 94WIP Morning Show. "And if for no other reasons, two very, very, very, very basic reasons.

"Number one, the Eagles are consistently one of the best teams in pro football. They are going to have their down years, 2020 was a disaster. They had their down month in December and January. But they are, this is a fact—you can look it up, you can look at the numbers—they are consistently one of the best teams in pro football.

"And reason number two, they are consistently—now maybe this will change in the coming years due to the Phillies, we'll see. But the Eagles are consistently the best team in Philadelphia sports. It's just a fact."

Jon Ritchie, who played for Lurie's Eagles in 2003 and 2004, gave his thoughts as well.

"We are a power house because Howie is running the show," Ritchie said. "I appreciate the job he has done...I think they need to consider backing off a little bit with the power structure as it stands. It has worked. It is now wonky because we are teetering on the edge, where the coach is now in a spot where I don't know if it's going to be easy for the players to respect him."

Lurie, 72, purchased the Eagles in 1994 for $195 million. The team is currently valued at $5.8 billion, according to Forbes.

Roseman, 48, joined the organization as a front office intern in 2000, becoming the GM in 2010.
