Eagles Fan Organizes Drive-In Tailgate

With fans shut out of Lincoln Financial Field and the surrounding parking lots, Eagles tailgaters are looking for new ways to create the gameday atmosphere in a safe way.

Thankfully, Eagles superfan Rocco Gallelli has an answer.

Gallelli is turning his drive-in venue into a tailgate zone and will play Eagles games on his giant 40-foot LED video screen so fans can watch the games.

The drive-in theatre, called Rhythm and Reels, has hosted concerts and movies throughout the summer. It's located just 20 minutes from the stadiums in Wiliamstown, New Jersey.

Gallelli told TMZ that he will charge $40 per car and that fans can bring their own food and beverage or order from a food stand at the venue. A total of 150 spots are available for this Sunday's game against the Washington Football Team. The drive-in venue will have sanitizer stations and masks available in following COVID protocols.

Last week, city officials said that tailgating will not be permitted outside the Linc this season. That followed on the heels of the Eagles announcement that fans would not be permitted to attend Eagles games until further notice.
