It's been a similar story all season long with the Philadelphia Eagles, even after their 11 wins—"Yeah, but we can play better."
Eagles center and captain Jason Kelce simplified it, saying they need to stop with the mistakes, including himself.
"We dominated a lot of fashions in that game," Kelce told the 94WIP Morning Show on Wednesday. "But the penalties and turnovers and the things that continually hurt us are still happening. We've got to get these things fixed.
"I'm just trying to fix my own stuff for the most part...I've got a false start thing every game for the last five of them. There was a snap issue the last game. Stuff like this...we're just having way too much of. We fix that, I think everybody will be very, very surprised at how much just that alone makes a difference in the outcome of these games."
The Eagles' offense racked up 465 total yards en route to a 33-25 win over the Giants, snapping a three game losing streak. However, Philadelphia did lose the turnover battle 2-1, committing two costly turnovers directly resulting in two touchdowns for the Giants.
This season, Philadelphia is fifth worst in the NFL with a negative-7 turnover differential. Last season, the Eagles were plus-8, third best in the NFL, in contrast.
