Reese: No chance at NFC Championship until Hurts is playing at elite level again

As it stands now and heading into the 2024 season, the two most important members of the Philadelphia Eagles organization are Howie Roseman and Jalen Hurts.

Ike Reese says the majority of the team's success will be determined by the play of the quarterback, regardless of what Roseman does this offseason.

"I don't know what Howie is going to do. But if the Eagles are going to get back to the final four next year to where they're playing in the NFC Championship game, you know where it's going to start man. I've said this and I'll continue to say it—until the quarterback is back to playing at that level, you got no chance at being back there. Because he's not a guy that they're going to carry to the NFC Championship or the Super Bowl, so he's going to have to be a huge part of it and his play is going to have to be a huge part of it."

The majority of fans agreed with Reese.

94WIP Afternoons co-host Jack Fritz, however, says Roseman has to be better this offseason than Hurts.

"This is Howie season as we like to say," Fritz said. "It comes down to what can Howie do this offseason to put this team in position...He has to get those [moves] right again."
