The Philadelphia Eagles lead the NFL with eight Pro Bowlers, which Nick Sirianni announced to the team on Wednesday.
The Pro Bowlers are: Jalen Hurts (1st), Jason Kelce (6th), Lane Johnson (4th), A.J. Brown (2nd), Miles Sanders (1st), Landon Dickerson, Darius Slay (5th), and Haason Reddick (1st).
The Eagles also have nine alternates, making about one third of their entire roster a Pro Bowler or alternate, which is amazing.
The nine alternates are: Isaac Seumalo, Rick Lovato, Javon Hargrave, James Bradberry, Brandon Graham, Fletcher Cox, Jordan Mailata, DeVonta Smith and Josh Sweat.
Hargrave is the biggest snub of the bunch, as the leader in fan votes at defensive tackle in the NFC. Hargrave, 29, has a career-high 10.0 sacks with three games to go, 12th most in the NFL.
The Eagles tweeted their displeasure for Hargrave not reaching the Pro Bowl.
T.J. Edwards is quietly having a huge season and he had a Pro Bowl case, as well. Edwards is eighth in the NFL with 124 total tackles and fourth in passes defended at the linebacker position.
Then there is C.J. Gardner-Johnson, who is the NFL co-leader in interceptions with six despite missing the last three games. He seemingly would have been a Pro Bowl lock, but players on injured reserve are left off the Pro Bowl ballots at the time. So, Dallas Goedert falls into this category as well, who is among the TE NFC leaders in receiving categories despite missing games.
He played only 7 games lol missed the whole year I just got hurt 😂😂😂 https://t.co/JaG3wf9qBJ

This year's Pro Bowl is a different format, switching to flag football and a set of games. No one really knows what to expect. The Pro Bowl will be on Sunday, February 5th in Las Vegas.
Hopefully, the Eagles will not be participating in the Pro Bowl because they will be preparing for the Super Bowl.
