The Philadelphia Eagles will officially receive a first-round pick in the 2022 NFL Draft from the Indianapolis Colts, as Carson Wentz has clinched the 75-percent snap rate for the 2021 regular season.
Philadelphia traded Wentz to Indianapolis in exchange for a 2021 third-round pick and a conditional 2022 first-round pick. The conditions were:
-Wentz plays 75-percent of the snaps in 2021 OR plays 70-percent of the snaps in 2021 and the Colts make the playoffs.

Wentz has started all 14 games for the Colts this season and Indy is trending toward making the playoffs at 8-6. The former Eagles' No. 2 overall draft pick has played 854 of the team's 876 snaps this year (97.49-percent), meaning that he will play more than the 75-percent threshold, even if he does not play another regular snap for whatever reason.
Assuming the Colts reach the postseason, that draft pick would be at No. 19 in round one or higher.
The Eagles have three first-round picks in the 2022 NFL Draft: via the Miami Dolphins (currently 10th overall), their own (11th overall), and via the Indianapolis colts (19-32).
Wentz has completed 62.7-percent of his passes this season throwing for 3,005 yards, 23 touchdowns, and just six interceptions. He also has had the luxury of handing the ball of to the league's top running back and MVP candidate in Jonathan Taylor, who leads the NFL in rushing yards with 1,518 and rushing touchdowns with 17.
Indy's defense leads the NFL in turnover difference at plus-14.
In the Colts' win over the Patriots this week, Wentz threw just 12 times, completing five passes for 57 yards, 1 TD, and 1 INT.
